Leonard JohnFOADAged 77, passed away quickly and peacefully around 8am on Saturday 26 July 2025 at Valley View Nursing Home, Cefn Hengoed, formerly of Llanbradach, Caerphilly. Len had coped with heart failure and pulmonary fibrosis for several years before entering full-time care in March 2025. Born in Singapore on 25 April 1948, the youngest of four boys (Christopher, deceased; Peter; and Geoffrey). Len is survived by his wife Kathleen (Kate) married since 10th November 1969, now in Alzheimer's care since May 2024. Len, a fun, laid back and loving person, built a career as a printer, despite being colour blind. Passionate about fun, nature and photography, and a mean Scrabble player, he will be greatly missed. Son Kevin, daughter-in-law Sheila McDonald, and grandson Brogan invite all who knew him to celebrate his life at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel, 14:30 on Wednesday 20th August 2025.
